Lab Support Engineer

Katalyst CRO is seeking a Lab Support Engineer to provide hands-on technical support for laboratory systems and infrastructure in a regulated environment. The role involves configuring, integrating, validating, and maintaining lab informatics platforms including LIMS, ELN, CDS, and laboratory instrument systems to support scientific operations efficiently. Responsibilities: • Provide operational support for laboratory systems and scientific teams • Configure and validate laboratory IT systems and instrument integrations • Support LIMS, ELN, CDS, imaging systems, and lab connectivity workflows • Collaborate with Science, IT, Quality, and Facilities teams • Develop scripts and automation tools for workflow optimization • Participate in validation and qualification activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) • Maintain documentation, CMDB records, and vendor coordination • Identify opportunities for digital lab improvements and innovation Qualifications: • 3–5 years of hands-on experience with laboratory systems • Experience with LIMS, ELN, CDS, and scientific informatics platforms • Knowledge of GxP, CSV, and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance • Experience with instrument integration and lab infrastructure • Basic scripting knowledge in Python or PowerShell • Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills • Experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or healthcare IT environments preferred • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Benefits: • 401K • 401K Match • Medical, Dental, Vision Schedule: • Monday to Friday • Day Shift • 8-hour shift Job ID: CGXP_26_5474
